Be Present

We all need this simple reminder sometimes when we live in a world where our minds are constantly occupied by what’s on our phone. We search for that next endorphin hit when we pull up social media for the bazillionth time of the day and lose sight of everything else that is around us. By being present, you can create a stronger connection between your environment, your feelings, thoughts, and the company of people around you.

Being present allows us to obtain a higher level of satisfaction and have better experiences in our daily lives. When you have a moment to yourself, be mindful of your surroundings instead of distracting yourself. See what's around you, feel the air and temperature, and hear your environment or perhaps even a song you're listening to. Allow yourself to just to be, rather than doing, and see the fulfillment it creates within you.
